It’s Canada Day weekend! I will be heading up north to my Aunt and Uncle’s place in Gravenhurst, and I’m excited to relax and spend time with my family. For the celebrations today, I’ve made these delicious No Bake Cheesecakes that I put into mason jars. These little treats are in the Canada Day-themed colours and the perfect dessert to end the night.
Enjoy your long weekend!
1 1/2 cups finely ground graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup white sugar
6 Tbsp butter, melted
1 package (250g) cream cheese, softened
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 can cherry pie filling
1) Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and white sugar together. Press into the bottom of mason jars (or a pie plate). Let this set in the fridge for 1 hour.
2) Beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until combined. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla. Pour over the prepared crust and let chill for 3 hours.
3) Top with cherry pie filling and serve.
